OTT-OTT’s statement is not good, it has the potential to weaken the KPK and at the same time provide fresh air to potential corruptors and benefit the position of corrupt behavior.
in fact what is not good is the corrupt behavior of public officials, including ministers, not OTT-OTT as part of eradicating corruption which is not good. Remember, until now corruption has become a chronic social pathology in our country.
Because of that, OTT-OTT is very good. because, while OTT-OTT is carried out in a planned and legal process, corruption still exists in volumes in this country. What happens if OTT-OTT is not carried out.
As long as OTT-OTT is still happening, public officials, including ministers, should be ashamed of themselves, not even saying that OTT-OTT is bad for the country.
Therefore, it is very, very inappropriate for LBP to say that has been published in many media that OTT, which is often carried out by the KPK, has disgraced Indonesia’s reputation.
in fact the opposite is true, the more OTTs are carried out by the KPK, bringing a better, better name for Indonesia and encouraging investment inflows to Indonesia. OTT-OTT is one strong proof that this country continues to be committed to being free from the clutches of corruptors.
Therefore, it is very appropriate that various parties firmly reject the LBP statement, because it has the potential to be profitable for (potential) corruptors.
For this reason, I suggest that LBP immediately withdraw the statement and there is nothing wrong with LBP apologizing in public because this statement is very much against anti-corruption education in society.
